The Alleyways The clean and lawful metropolis known as Beijing has its fair share of dirty, underground markets, most of which are in the alleyways. In the alleyways, all of the minor deals take place--a prostitute here, some drugs there. In the alleyways, pretty much everything that can be manufactured is manufactured. Everything from a long discontinued soda to a piggy bank that sings and dances when you move it. |

Abandoned Factory The abandoned factory used to be a toy-making company until it was bankrupt. Now, it is a local hangout for delinquents and gangs. On quiet nights, you can hear the excitement and the occasional gunshot coming from the factory. The factory itself is dark and gloomy when no one is around. |

Forbidden City For hundreds of years, the Forbidden City was closed off to the public. It still is, though it does open up to the public on nation-wide holidays. The Forbidden City is approximately the size of a small town and contains a labyrinth of rooms, buildings, and alleyways. The only people allowed into it on a regular basis are government officials, high-class militiamen, and royalty. |

Qian Bai Hua Park Near the center of Beijing, only mere streets from the Emperor's Palace. It's approximately a kilometer in diameter, with a serene river running straight through the center. Many civilians come and go to Qian Bai Hua Park seeking a semblance of nature in the quickly modernizing city. Many fights tend to break out here. |
