As a roleplay with so many roles we need to fill, we need to make it so that it's easier to keep track of who's who and what's what. Because of this, I'm instituting *sign ups* for airships and crews; this also makes it much easier to create the boards needed to play things out on the ships for us! My co-admin and I are starting the board off with only one ship, a militia airship, so the players will have to come up with pirate ships and crews, as well as the other militia airships. We trust you!
As of now, there's a limit to how many ships we can have. Only one militia ship and two pirate ships will be accepted at this point! Also, only apply to make a ship if you are already accepted into the roleplay. If your character's application says he's a captain, then unless you're filling out the role for another ship's captain or all the slots are filled, you are expected to make your own ship and sign up here.
Your character doesn't necessarily have to be a captain for you to make up and apply to create a ship, but it does help your case if your character is the captain-- if I have to choose between a ship application done by a character who isn't a captain and one who is, I will choose the latter because I feel a captain character will get things moving quicker, and that I should let them come up with their own specifications.
We'll also use this thread to keep track of crews-- who's in what crew, etc. So when a character joins your crew IC, be sure to report it here (or if you're the newbie who joined a crew, report it yourself. )

Ship's Base and Frequent Stops: Bostonia! It's a ship commissioned to take out frequent uprisings across the map, though, so its flight patterns are rather erratic-- unlike most ships, the AFSS Freheit stops wherever it can for fuel.
Oh, lastly: If your ship has too many special effects/add-ons/weapons, we may take some off and put them up for purchase in Ling's/Shawn McDoogle's Shop, where you can buy the features for your ship after you've collected enough argent.

But I'd advise not to have your base in the same place as other pirates-- you know they're a rowdy bunch. Pirates can refuel in Bostonia-- not many militiamen will make a fuss over it anymore-- but it's best to do it in islands away from prying eyes...)
