He has a short patch of rich brown hair on his head that only barely leaves his skull and a neatly groomed dart of a beard that falls down to collar. He wears a gray jacket with a fancy white color, and cuffs with a row of dull brass buttons down his chest. Vorgen has a trim form and slightly pale skin, he keeps a pair of well polished eyeglasses on him at all times along with a revolver on a belt around his waist. His feet are protected by well oiled black boots. He stands up straight and has a tendency to intensely stare at things when concentrating. He was wrapped in meager rags to keep the cold off him but he still was chilled. A mere orphan at the age of seven he waited by an academy, hoping that the academics he admired would throw him a scrapling of food. This was the moment that would define Vorgen’s life. He saw a man walk by, he was dressed in rich red clothing and had a simple straw hat on his head. Leroy walked forward feeling weak on his feet. “Sir, you wouldn’t happen to have any food would you kindsir?” His voice came pleading and weak. The smile that had graced the well dressed man’s face turned to a worried frown. “Sure boy, sure,” he hurriedly pulled a partially eaten loaf of bread out of a pouch tied to his waist. He handed it to Vorgen and bended his knees so he was at Vorgen’s eye level. “Where’s your parents boy?” He asked kindly. Vorgen looked away, somewhat confused “I don’t have any sir. I don’t have any family.” Vorgan began to sob then. The well dressed man grabbed Vorgen’s hand in a comforting gesture and placed a heavy coin in it. He said calming words to Leroy as he walked “Don’t worry son, the world is not as bad a place as you think. Everything usually turns out for the best.” The next day Vorgen sat on the corner as the headmaster of the school came to him. “Boy, some man came to me yesterday and told me you had a desire to be educated at this academy. Is this true?” Vorgen nodded his head, finding himself too weak to speak. “Now boy, we can’t teach you for free?” Said the headmaster, realizing this whole thing as foolish and looking uncomfortable around the poor boy, wanted to leave. Vorgen fished around his person finding the heavy coin and showing it to the headmaster. The headmaster had a face of absolute shock on his face, “Dear God.” He took the coin from Vorgen’s hand,” we’ll teach you boy.” [/ul] | Personality- If anything could describe Vorgen it would be calculating. Vorgen sees piracy and his life as a series of investments. As such he is unemotional and cool towards all. He looks down on lesser people of low status and little education as mere numbers and statistics with no emotion. When in the company of high ranking people though he assumes the position of the well acclimated diplomat. [/ul] | : Lord Cassidus sat in his captain quarters, covered wall to wall with charts of the places he proweled. He was looking at one of these charts on his desk, it was an overlay of profit yields of the various cities in this area listing their chief products. He noticed one odd city on the graphs; it possesed a higher than average profit yield for this area. While it was looked upon as a coal mining town; Cassidus remembered a note he had written for himself, according to civilian radio the town had recently come upon a vein of gold. Cassidus looked over the population map seeing the town was relatively small. Cassidus was certain that the military would have moved to consolidate it. He pulled a map made by his own calculations and various other sources, detailing military movement. He had crafted this map himself, it was based off a map of oil and coal buying. It seemed that the World Adunctio was at least attempting to hide the transactions. Their attempts were in vain though, the amount that they bought was too high for any other organization; Lord Cassidus had already figured out all 34 of the aliases used by the government to buy products. Well it seems they have not yet consolidated the position. Cassidus knew by virtue of his research that his crew must raid this city soon or else they would have no chance to reap the profits. He opened up the communication channels to the rest of the ship. “We are launching towards the city of Velmeman. I want boilers to be vehemented, we should hold at 70% steam pressure. Helmsman! Turn the ship 43 degrees to port. There is a profit to be had and I hate a wasted opportunity.” The crew obeyed without question, they knew that any venture their captain led them on would be for their ultimate gain. Lord Cassidus was a bit nervous, he knew that in order to have enough coal to get to Canberra his crew would have to perform slightly above the estimated average. It was worth the risk though, the attack would bring in much profit from the gold and a few more slaves for the boilers and selling wouldn’t hurt either. The Stormbringer Turned slowly, leaving behind a massive cloud. It traveled steadily, the Stormbringer ready to bring storms of woe to its enemies, and showers of wealth upon those who were above the boiler decks.
